we're bad at this

Today I was reminded of this tight little group, producing a mixture of sounds I find appealing to my auditory sensors, by a video of a song from their latest album “Brand New Eyes”. I got introduced to Paramore one or two years back while I still grinded away in a little “Marketing Research” firm. The medium was an online radio station set to Punk / Alternative and Paramore proved to be one of the few colourful things in my workdays there. I just grew to love “crushcrushcrush” and “Misery Business” while skidding through the endless data sheets. Some might argue that Paramore has a little too much Pop than Alternative but heck I like how they stick to the Punk. Our merry relationship had a short rough period when they were introduced to a series I rather not comment on… yet! But Time manages to mend so many things and my encounter with the rest of “Brand New Eyes” is going to remedy for that transgression. In fact I liked the main piece they produced for the movie after my agitation subsided… So for now Paramore has a special place in my book, and I will continue to follow their exploits.
