That was a nice little holiday break… So here is something fun and fresh – the new Gorillaz album – Plastic Beach. Although I am rather preoccupied in space I finally sat down to give it a spin and it surprised me a lot. This album is really mellow and relaxing, in contrast to the previous one I listened to a lot, which was more edgy and bizarre. The album features a lot of well known artists and also very oriental themes in some of the pieces. The album is not exactly what I expected but I feel it will run often when need be for something chill-out and easy-going.
